Cruise Control System

Cruise control is a speed control system that maintains a desired vehicle speed under normal driving conditions. Steep grades may cause variations in selected speeds. System has capability to cruise, coast, resume speed, accelerate, and tap-up and tap-down.
The main components of the cruise control system include the cruise control module assembly, functional control switches, Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), cruise control clutch switch (M/T), cruise control release switch and brake switch. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS .
