Changing Automatic Door Lock/Unlock Operation Mode: Notes

NOTE: Tech 2 scan tool can also be used to change door lock operation modes.
  1. Ensure transmission is in Park. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Press and hold either door lock switch in LOCK position. BCM will sound chime (1, 2, 3 or 4 chimes) indicating that BCM has now entered the feature customization mode.
  2. Each time transmission selector is moved out or Park, then returned to Park, chime will sound a number times equal to the current mode number.
  3. Each time shifter is cycled out of Park, then back to Park, mode setting will advance. When Mode 4 is reached, Mode 1 will be repeated. To exit and save current customization mode, release door lock switch being held. The lock/unlock operation modes are as follows:
