Remote Function Actuator (RFA) Module: Installation

CAUTION: Carefully follow the installation procedure when replacing the RFA module in order to avoid malfunctions or inoperative options. If the RPO options are improperly set, the RFA system may become inoperative.

Connect the upper electrical connector. Align the mounting rails on the module with the mounting rails on the multi-use bracket. See Figure . Slide the module upward into place until the mounting rails align and the locking tab engages.
Connect the lower electrical connector.
Install the right sound insulator. See CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL .
Program the RFA module. See REMOTE CONTROL DOOR LOCK REPROGRAMMING under PROGRAMMING.
Program the transmitters. See TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING under PROGRAMMING.
