PASSLOCK(tm) LEARN PROCEDURES

NOTE: Perform the Passlock(tm) learn procedure when the Passlock(tm) sensor, BCM or PCM have been replaced. Program replaced module before programming Passlock(tm).
  1. Ensure battery is fully charged. Using scan tool, clear DTCs.
  2. Turn ignition switch to START position. Vehicle will start, then stall.
  3. Leave ignition switch in ON position while observing SECURITY indicator.
  4. When security indicator turns off (can take up to 10 minutes), turn ignition switch to OFF position and wait 10 seconds.
  5. Repeat steps  2 - 4 two times (3 times total).
  6. BCM and PCM will learn new code on next start attempt.
