Body Control Module (BCM) may also be referred to as Body Function Controller (BFC).
The Passlock™ system is designed to prevent vehicle theft by disabling the engine, unless a mechanical key is used to correctly engage the Passlock™ lock cylinder. System components include ignition switch, Passlock™ lock cylinder, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and Body Control Module (BCM).
