Last Door Closed Locking Mode

NOTE: Following procedure is written specifically for Tech 2 scan tool. A generic scan tool may not be capable of performing all necessary reprogramming functions.
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located below left side of instrument panel, to right of steering column. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using scan tool, select correct vehicle and model year. Select BODY, then PERSONALIZATION.
  2. Select SET OPTIONS. Select F1 for Last Door Closed Locking (LDCL) mode. Highlight desired mode for following choices: LDCL DISABLED or LDCL ENABLED. Press ENTER button to turn mode ON or OFF (current mode must be turned OFF before another mode can be turned ON). Select SAVE option, then EXIT.
