Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to SIR CAUTION .
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the steering wheel inflatable restraint module. Refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (DRIVER-SIDE) .
  3. Remove the steering wheel control switch by gently pulling the switch away from the steering wheel.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector on the steering wheel control switch.
  5. Remove the control switch from the steering wheel.
