Power Windows - Tailgate: Description

Power tailgate window motor is a permanent magnet type. Window is controlled by two switches. One switch is mounted in instrument panel while the other switch is mounted in tailgate key lock. Ignition switch must be in "ON" position for window to be operated from instrument panel switch. Switch in tailgate key lock, operates window at all times. A 30 amp. circuit breaker protects circuit. Tailgate can be operated as a door with window in up position, but window must be lowered to use tailgate as a tailgate.
