Visual Inspection
Prior to testing or diagnosis, it is essential that a visual inspection of all system components be conducted. Check all hoses, seals, mountings, electrical connections and cables for proper routing and adjustment. The following points must be considered prior to diagnosis:
- Weather and operating conditions prevailing when problem occurred.
- Whether mode and blower controls were properly set to best suit weather and operating conditions.
- If the problem was caused by the SATC system or in the evaporator-heater system.
