Power Transistor

  1. Remove connector from power transistor. Apply 1.5 volts (one dry cell battery) between power transistor terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1 & Fig 2 .
  2. Apply 1.5 volts (one dry cell battery) between terminals No. 3 and 2 with terminal No. 1 disconnected and connected. With terminal No. 1 disconnected, no voltage should be present. With terminal No. 1 connected, voltage should be present.
