Crank Angle Sensor (2.0L): Installation
- To install crank angle sensor, reverse removal procedure. Go to step 3). If crank angle sensor reference mark was not made as described in removal procedure, go to next step.
- Turn crankshaft so that No. 1 cylinder is at TDC. Align punch mark on crank angle sensor housing with notch in plate. See Fig 1 . Install crank angle sensor on cylinder head.
- Adjust ignition timing. See appropriate ADJUSTMENTS article. Torque crank angle sensor hold-down bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS in this article.
