Horn Fails To Sound During Alarm

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS. Unless instructed otherwise in test step, reconnect any disconnected connectors.
  1. Ensure horn is operating properly. Repair horn system as necessary. If horn is operating properly, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module connector. Connect one end of a jumper wire to RKE module connector terminal No. 18, horn relay control circuit (Black/Red wire). See Figure. Momentarily touch other end of jumper wire to ground. If horn sounds when jumper wire is grounded, replace RKE module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If horn does not sound when jumper wire is grounded, repair open Black/Red wire.
