Removal (Undeployed Module)

NOTE: Use the following procedure when removing a module for any reason other than one that has been deployed.
  1. Disconnect and isolate battery (negative) cable. See Fig 1 . Lift module up until wire connector is visible and disconnect 6-way wire connector from module. Unlock red locking tab and compress lock to release connector. Open glove box door. Release check cables, allowing glove box door to lower.
  2. Remove 2 screws attaching Passenger Air Bag Module through glove opening. Remove two nuts attaching Passenger Air Bag Module through top cover access. See Fig 2 . To install, reverse removal procedures.
