A/C Module Replace

CELEBRITY, CENTURY, CIERA & 6000

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, discharge refrigerant and drain cooling system.
2. Disconnect heater hoses from core tubes and refrigerant lines from accumulator and evaporator, then plug lines and open fittings.
3. Disconnect necessary electrical connectors and vacuum hoses, noting position for installation.
4. On models with V6-173, remove A/C module heat shield, if equipped.
5. Remove screws securing A/C module assembly to dash panel, then the A/C module, Fig. 2.
6. Reverse procedure to install, ensuring that seal is properly positioned.
