Removal & Installation

Distributor Installation:

REMOVE
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Distributor Cap and spark plug wires from distributor.
3. Coil and EST connectors.
4. Distributor to cam carrier nuts.
5. Distributor - Mark tang drive end and camshaft for correct reassembly.

INSTALL
1. Distributor - Align tang drive according to previous marking.
2. Distributor to cam carrier nuts.

Tighten
Nuts to 13 lb. ft (18 Nm).

3. Coil and EST connectors.
4. Distributor Cap and spark plug wires from distributor.
5. Negative battery cable.
6. Check and adjust Ignition Timing.
