Alternator & Regulator: Description

Delco-Remy CS charging system uses the Delco-Remy CS-121 alternator with an internal voltage regulator. Alternators are equipped with internal regulators, delta stator, rectifier bridge, and rotor slip rings and brushes. No test hole is provided.

The CS-121 alternator requires 3 connections, battery positive, an "L" terminal to the charge indicator bulb and the "I" terminal used as a backup circuit if the "L" circuit fails. The "P" and "S" terminals are not used.
