Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

ECM


Remove or Disconnect:

1. Negative battery cable.

2. Interior access panel.

3. Connectors from ECM/PCM.

3. ECM/PCM.

NOTICE: To prevent possible electrostatic discharge damage to the ECM/PCM, Do Not touch the connector pins or soldered components on the circuit board.


Install or Connect:

1. New ECM/PCM.

2. ECM connectors to ECM/PCM.

3. Negative battery cable.

4. interior access panel.
