Locks Do Not Operate From Either Switch
- Connect a test light between chassis ground and Orange wire terminal of power door lock relay connector. If test light does not glow, repair open Orange wire.
- If test light glows, connect test light between Orange wire and Black wire terminals of relay connector. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, check for poor wiring connection at relay. If connection is okay, repair open relay connector terminal Black wire.
- Connect test light between chassis ground and Orange wire terminal of either door lock switch connector. If test light does not glow, repair open Orange wire.
- If test light glows, connect test light between Gray wire and Tan wire terminals of relay connector. Hold switch in lock and unlock positions. If test light glows with switch in each position, go to next step. If test light does not glow with switch in each position, check for poor wiring connection at relay. If wiring connection is okay, replace relay.
- Connect test light between chassis ground and Gray wire terminal of any door lock motor connector. Hold switch in lock position. If test light does not glow, repair open Gray wire. If test light glows, repair open Tan wire.
