Automatic Door Lock Programming: Notes

Keyless entry module can be programmed into 4 different modes for automatic door locking function. Modes 1, 2 and 3 will lock all doors with ignition on, driver's door closed and transaxle taken out of Park. If driver's door is opened with transaxle not in Park, doors will not lock until a reset occurs. A reset takes place with transaxle in Park and ignition on. If sliding side door is open with transaxle not in Park, all doors will lock 5 seconds after sliding door is closed. Sliding door delay function is canceled with ignition off, transmission in Park, UNLOCK button on transmitter pressed, or by turning key lock cylinder to unlock position. In mode 4, no automatic door lock functions will occur. Modes can be programmed as follows:
