Input/Output Diagnostics: Inputs

After all DTCs have been displayed, BCM provides individual input and output diagnostic checks for various functions. All systems will indicate each system input with a single flash of seat belt indicator and a chime tone. These system inputs include: All courtesy light switches, door lock cylinders, door lock switches, door lock ajar switches, keyless entry door lock/unlock, driver's fasten seat belt switch, driver information display, headlights OFF switch, shock sensor, glove box light, automatic day/night mirror, trip calculator and turn signal switch. If the proper feedback is not received, then there is an open or short in that circuit or a faulty component.
