DTC B3031: Key Decoder Device In Assembly Learn Mode

NOTE: Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.

System has 2 learn modes, auto learn and quick learn. If this DTC is current, reprogram a new key using auto learn procedure. DTC will be cleared. See PROGRAMMING . This DTC will cause SECURITY indicator light to illuminate until DTC is cleared.

The PASS-Key(R) III module contains software programs that perform periodic self tests. The entire diagnostic function is done within the module. Results are reported over class 2 data link upon request of scan tool.
