Enter programming mode. See CUSTOMIZING CONTENT THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM . Press LOCK switch on remote transmitter. Count number of chimes (mode number). Press LOCK switch on remote transmitter until proper number of chimes is obtained. When vehicle is shipped from factory, Mode 3 is set as a default mode. Continue customizing or exit programming mode.
