Input/Output Diagnostics: Inputs

After all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) have been displayed, Body Control Module (BCM) provides individual input and output diagnostic checks for various functions. All systems will indicate each system input with a single flash of seat belt indicator and a chime tone. These system inputs include: All courtesy light switches, door lock cylinders, door lock switches, door lock ajar switches, keyless entry door lock/unlock, driver's fasten seat belt switch, driver information display, headlights OFF switch, shock sensor, glove box light, automatic day/night mirror, trip calculator and turn signal switch. If the proper feedback is not received, then an open or short in that circuit or a faulty component exists.
