Remote Control Door Lock Receiver

The remote control door lock receiver is located in the Instrument Panel and is powered by the vehicle battery through the Instrument Panel wiring harness. The remote control door lock receiver determines which command is being sent by the remote control door lock transmitter and sends the appropriate signal to the Body Control Module (BCM). The rear compartment lid release function is carried out directly by the remote control door lock receiver, independent of the BCM.
