Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the ignition control module on the bracket.
  2. Fig 1: Removing/Installing Coil Assemblies

  3. Install the coils to the ignition control module.
  4. Reinstall the fasteners securing the ignition control module assembly to the engine.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Reinstall the screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

  7. Connect the spark plug wires as noted during removal.
  8. Connect the electrical connectors to the ignition control module.
