Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Install the rear object alarm detection module.

Install the electrical connector to the module.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Install the bolts that secure the rear object alarm detection module.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Secure the top of the quarter trim over the bolts.
Install the cargo tie-down loops from the rear quarter trim.
Install the rear liftgate sill.

Install the storage compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - Rear (Rendezvous) in Interior Trim.
Install the upper trim from the second and third row pillars.

Install the guide loop bolts from the second and from the third row seat belts.

Close the guide loop covers to the left rear seat belt.

Return the second and the third row seats to their upright positions.
