Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Aztek and 2002 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the overhead console to the headliner by pushing up until the retaining clips engage.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the screws to the overhead storage compartment.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the second seat audio controls to the overhead console. Refer to AUDIO CONTROL REPLACEMENT - SECOND SEAT (AZTEK) or AUDIO CONTROL REPLACEMENT - SECOND SEAT (RENDEZVOUS) in Entertainment.
  4. Close the overhead compartment storage doors.
