Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Buick Regal and 2003 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the right side IP insulator Panel. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor control processor.

  3. Disconnect the blower motor control processor electrical connector from the blower motor.

    IMPORTANT: The opening to the blower motor control processor is slotted. Access to the blower motor control processor opening is limited.
  4. Loosen both of the forward bolts.
  5. Remove the rearward bolt.
    IMPORTANT: Tilt down the rear of the blower motor control processor.
  6. Remove the blower control processor.
