Installation Procedure

- Install the brake pedal position sensor (1).
- Install the brake pedal position sensor bolts (1) and tighten to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
- Connect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
- Install the driver knee bolster reinforcement. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Reinforcement Replacement .
- Perform the brake master cylinder primary piston position sensor relearn. Refer to Electronic Brake Control Module Programming and Setup .
NOTE:
Ensure the brake pedal position sensor arm is engaged on the brake pedal pin.
