Fuel Injectors: Installation

NOTE: Fuel injectors are not interchangeable. Each fuel injector is calibrated for a specific flow rate. An 8-digit part identification number is on a mylar label affixed to the fuel meter body assembly. Refer to this number if servicing or part replacement is required.

Lubricate "O" ring seals on NEW fuel injector with clean engine oil. Install fuel injector into fuel meter body assembly. Install injector assembly retainer. Install injector retainer lock nuts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
