Powertrain Control Module: Removal

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Locate PCM at left front corner of engine compartment. See Fig 1. Release PCM cover from mounting tabs on PCM bracket.
  2. Remove PCM cover from PCM. Loosen PCM harness connector bolts. See Fig 2. Disconnect PCM harness connectors. Release the PCM spring latch. Release PCM mounting tabs. Remove PCM.
