Compass Calibration

  1. Ensure mirror has correct compass variation zone number. See COMPASS MAGNETIC VARIATION ADJUSTMENT .
  2. Start engine. Locate compass switch button. Depending on mirror model, switch button will be marked with COMP, COMPASS or ON/OFF. Press and hold switch button until "C" or "CAL" is displayed in mirror.
  3. Drive vehicle in circles at a speed less than 5 mph (8 km/h) until "C" or "CAL" is replaced by a proper vehicle heading. Calibration is complete.
