SAS Control Module: Notes

WARNING: Accidental air bag deployment possible. Personal injury may result. Disconnecting SAS control module connector or removing SAS control module with ignition switch in ON position can cause air bags and pretensioners to deploy. Always disable air bag system prior to disconnecting or removing crash sensor.
Accidental air bag deployment possible. Personal injury may result. Connecting SAS control module connector without firmly installing SAS control module to vehicle can cause air bags and pretensioners to deploy. Always have SAS control module firmly mounted to vehicle prior to connecting electrical connectors.
NOTE: If SAS configuration procedure is not performed after installing SAS control module, Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) B2477 will be displayed.
