Installation Procedure

CAUTION:
When adding coolant, use DEX-COOL coolant. If silicated coolant is added to the system, premature engine, heater core or radiator corrosion may result. In addition, the engine coolant will require change sooner-at 50 000 km (30,000 mi) or 24 months.
- Install the radiator to the vehicle. Ensure the lower insulators are properly installed.
- Connect the following hoses if applicable:
- Surge tank hose
- Coolant Recovery hose
- Heater Outlet hose
- Install the engine oil cooler lines to the vehicle. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement .
- Install the transmission oil cooler lines. Refer to AUXILIARY OIL COOLER .
- Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
- Install the fan shroud to the vehicle. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .
- Install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator.
- Refill the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
