Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
  2. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
  3. Remove the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .

  4. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
  5. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the radiator. Refer to AUXILIARY OIL COOLER .
  6. Disconnect the engine oil cooler lines from the radiator. Refer to Engine Oil Cooler Replacement - Auxiliary .
  7. Disconnect the following hoses if applicable:
    • Surge tank hose
    • Coolant recovery hose
    • Heater outlet hose

  8. Remove the radiator from the vehicle.
