Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the I/P trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P UPPER) .
  2. Lower the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT .
  3. Loosen the bolt retaining the radio antenna module in order to disconnect the electrical connector.

  5. Disconnect the cable (2) from the radio antenna module.
  6. Remove the cable clips (1) from the roof.

  8. Remove the cable clips (1) from the A-pillar.
  9. Disconnect the cable (3) from the radio.
  10. Disconnect the electrical wire connector (4).
  11. Remove the radio cable from the vehicle.
