Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel upper trim. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER (AZTEK) or TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER (RENDEZVOUS) .
  2. Remove the security indicator lamp (3) from the instrument panel upper trim:
    1. Rotate the lamp counterclockwise to approximately 1/4 turn.
    2. Pull the lamp out.
  3. Disconnect the security indicator lamp electrical connector from the security indicator lamp.
