Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Fig 1: View Of Spare Tire

  3. Remove the spare tire from the vehicle to gain access to the control module.
  4. Fig 2: Disconnecting Electrical Connectors From The Control Module

  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the control module.
  6. Remove the bolts (1) retaining the control module (2) to the bracket.
  7. Remove the control module from the vehicle.
