Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the instrument accessory panel trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory (Aztek) or to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Aztek) or Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Rendezvous) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the radio screws.

  3. Pull the radio away from the instrument panel (I/P).
  4. Disconnect the electrical/audio electrical connectors from the radio.
  5. Disconnect the coaxial cable connector from the radio.

  6. Remove the radio.
