Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Aztek and 2002 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the wiper system drive module to the cowl.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the wiper system drive module bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the wiper motor cover electrical connector.
  4. Install the cruise control module and bracket. Refer to CRUISE CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT in Cruise Control.
  5. Install the underhood electrical center. Refer to UNDERHOOD ELECTRICAL CENTER OR JUNCTION BLOCK in Wiring Systems.
  6. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT in Body Front End.

  7. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .
