Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Position the regulator to the inside door structure. A slight twisting motion of the regulator is needed.
- Ensure the regulator is positioned firmly in the door.
- Install the bolts to the window regulator.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Align the window glass to the regulator.
- Install the bolts that hold the window to the regulator.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
- Install the trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
- Lower the window and inspect the operation.

IMPORTANT:
Place Permatex Threadlocker, Part Number 24200, GM P/N 12345382, onto the regulator bolt threads prior to tightening.
