Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Chevrolet Malibu. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the antenna lead (5) to the radio (2).
  2. Connect the electrical connectors (1, 4) to the radio (2).
  3. Install the radio (2) in the instrument panel.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. Install the radio mounting bolts (3) to the radio (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT -- IP ACCESSORY .
