Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: Remove the instrument panel (IP) upper trim slowly to prevent the retainer clips from falling into the IP.
  1. Lift up the IP upper trim panel approximately 51 cm (2 in). Pull rearward to release the retainers.

  2. Remove the security indicator lamp (2) from the IP upper trim panel (1):
    1. 2.1. Rotate the lamp counterclockwise approximately 1/4 turn.
    2. 2.2. Pull the lamp out.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the security indicator lamp.
