Climate Control Unit Installation

  1. Pass each wire through the following routes and connect to A/C unit.

  2. Connect the climate control unit connectors.
  3. Adjust the climate control unit wires. CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT WIRE ADJUSTMENT .
  4. Install the following parts:
    1. PJB and PJB bracket. See FUSES & CIRCUIT BREAKERS .
    2. Glove compartment. See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    3. Decoration panel. See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    4. Lower panel. See LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    5. Front side trim. See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    6. Front scuff plate. See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    7. Detach the hood release lever from the lower panel. See HOOD LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    8. Ashtray panel. See CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
    9. Climate control unit
    10. Center panel module. See INTERIOR TRIM .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
