Scan Tool Data Definitions

Cruise Control Active:  The scan tool displays Yes or No. The PCM monitors the cruise control engaged signal circuit. When the cruise control system is active, the cruise control module grounds the cruise control engaged signal circuit, and the scan tool displays Yes Cruise Release Clutch/TCC Pedal switches:  The scan tool displays On or Off. The PCM monitors the CCP switch signal circuit. The scan tool displays On when the brake pedal switch or the clutch pedal are depressed.

Ignition 1 Voltage:  The scan tool displays 6-18 volts. The PCM monitors the ignition 1 voltage circuit.

Vehicle Speed Sensor:  The scan tool displays km/h or mph. The PCM monitors the vehicle speed sensor signal circuit. The vehicle speed sensor signal is converted into km/h and mph for display.
