Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sonoma, 2003 GMC Jimmy, 2003 Chevrolet S10 Pickup, and 2003 Chevrolet Blazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the headlamp switch panel to the instrument panel accessory trim plate.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the screws that retain the headlamp switch panel to the instrument cluster bezel.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT -- INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
