Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Buick Regal and 2002 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the sunroof module in the vehicle. Press up to install the two white nylon locator/retainers.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the sunroof module actuator bracket bolt. Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).

  4. Install the 6 sunroof module to roof bolts. Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).
  5. Install the 4 sunroof module bracket to side rail bolts. Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 in lbs).
  6. Connect the front and rear drain hoses to the sunroof housing.
  7. Properly route the rear hoses in the metal roof slot and tape the hoses in place.

  9. Connect the sunroof harness to the body harness at the right rear pillar.
  10. Temporarily install the power sunroof switch and check the operation of the sunroof.
  11. Install the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT .
  12. Open and close the sunroof in order to test for correct operation of the sunroof.
  13. Adjust the sunroof as needed. Refer to Sunroof Glass Height and Opening Fit Adjustment .
