Accelerator Controls Cable Replacement: Removal

- Disconnect the accelerator control cable from the accelerator controls bracket. Disconnect the accelerator control cable from the throttle body lever. Disconnect the accelerator control cable at the retainer on the bulkhead. See Figure.
- Remove the fasteners from the rear edge of the closeout/insulator panel. Pull the closeout/insulator panel down in order to disengage the push pin type fasteners from the lower instrument panel.
- Squeeze the accelerator control cable cover tangs and push the accelerator control cable through the bulkhead. Disconnect the accelerator control cable at the accelerator controls pedal. Remove the accelerator control cable.
