Section 205 (Wiper System & Washer System): Description

Wiper system consists of a 2-speed, positive-park, permanent-magnet motor. Combined wiper and washer switch, mounted on end of multifunction switch (turn signal) lever, controls system. Wiper motor and transmission assembly is mounted under cowling air inlet screen. Vehicle is equipped with a pulse wipe delay. Power for wiper/washer system is provided by WIPER fuse (25-amp) located in the instrument panel fuse block. Wiper motor is protected by an internal, self-resetting circuit breaker. Washer pump motor is mounted on reservoir located in engine compartment.
