Engine Control Module: Notes

CAUTION:
In order to prevent possible electrostatic discharge damage to the Engine Control Module (ECM), do not touch the connector pins or soldered components on the circuit board.
CAUTION:
Turn off the ignition when installing or removing the ECM connectors and disconnecting or reconnecting the power to the ECM (battery cable, ECM pigtail, ECM fuse, jumper cables, etc.) in order to prevent internal ECM damage.
